Zanzibar, an archipelago off the coast of Tanzania, is renowned for its stunning beaches, rich history, and vibrant culture. Comprising two main islands, Unguja (commonly referred to as Zanzibar) and Pemba, along with several smaller islands, Zanzibar is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its unique blend of African, Arab, Persian, and Indian influences.

Geography and Climate

Zanzibar is characterized by its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush green landscapes. The climate is tropical, with warm temperatures year-round, making it an ideal destination for beachgoers. The dry season, from June to October, is particularly popular for visitors.

Meet and greet from Zanzibar Airport or seaport and transferred to your stone town hotel for overnight on bed & breakfast.

After breakfast depart for a guided walk through stone town, visiting the historical sites through the narrow alley of stone city. You will be back to your hotel in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon around 1600hrs you will sail to Prison Island using the traditional sailing dhow for a tour within the island which was used as a prison by the first British Minister and now it home to giant tortoises which can live for more than 120 years. It is also the best sport for swimming and snorkeling. We will sail back to the ocean for the lovely scenery of the stone town from the ocean, with a combination of colorful clouds as the sun sets. On board drinks and snacks will be served to spice up your cruise as you head back to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, time at leisure and later transferred to the seaport or airport for your flight back home.
