Arrival and Hike to Mandara Hut

• Morning: Depart from your hotel early and drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (Marangu Gate) for registration and briefing by the guides.
• Mid-morning: Begin your hike through the lush rainforest, where you’ll spot diverse plant species, colorful birds, and possibly monkeys. The trail is relatively gentle, perfect for a relaxed introduction to the mountain.
• Lunch: Picnic lunch in the scenic forest.
• Afternoon: Continue trekking until you reach Mandara Hut (2,720 meters). Enjoy the stunning views and explore the nearby Maundi Crater for a breathtaking panorama of Kenya and Northern Tanzania.
• Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at Mandara Hut.

 Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate

• Early Morning: After breakfast at Mandara Hut, start your descent back to Marangu Gate. This is a great opportunity to spot more wildlife and take in the vibrant forest scenery.
• Mid-morning: Arrive at Marangu Gate and complete check-out formalities. Your guides will present certificates for completing the tour.
