Best Time to Climb Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro can be climbed year-round, but certain seasons offer better weather and more favorable conditions. The best time to climb depends on your personal preferences regarding weather, crowds, and trail conditions. Below is an overview of the different seasons to help you plan your adventure with African Peaks Tours.
1. January to March
Weather: Cooler temperatures with the possibility of snow at the summit.
Crowds: Fewer climbers compared to the high season.
Advantages: Quiet trails and scenic views of the snow-capped summit. Ideal for climbers who prefer less crowded routes.
2. June to October
Weather: Dry season, with warmer daytime temperatures and clear skies.
Crowds: This is the most popular time to climb Kilimanjaro, so expect more trekkers on the mountain.

3. November to December
Weather: Short rainy season with unpredictable weather.
Crowds: Fewer climbers, offering a more solitary experience.
